| Primarily grows on leaves and wood. It can be isolated from dead branches, wood and senescent leaves. May be identified on surfaces by tape lifts, tease mounts from bulk samples and in air by spore trap samples. This genus is sometimes associated with lumber, and can be found indoors on wood and indoor plants. No information is available regarding health effects and toxicity. Allergenicity has not be studied. |
