| Isolated from soil, may types of plants, trees and dead plant material. It has also been isolated from indoor sources such as paper, wallpaper, and textiles. Certain species produce Trichothecenes and Griseofulvins toxins. Allergenic and infectious properties are not well studied. May be identified on surfaces by tape lifts, tease mounts from bulk samples, and in air by culturable samples. |
